I started by not eating the Dannon Light n'fit yogurt and replacing in with plain yogurt, stony field farms yogurt or greek yogurt. I still use splenda in coffee, but I am much more aware of my intake.

- Heather @ www.hangrypants.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-792863193456580302008-07-28T15:46:00.001-04:002008-07-28T15:46:00.001-04:00I loved your breakfast, I eat everyday mashed bana...I loved your breakfast, I eat everyday mashed banana with oats (I love it!).

I think my biggest health change has been eating more whole wheat products, less white bread and trying to eat slowly and enjoying my food.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-51247362291814243982008-07-28T15:46:00.000-04:002008-07-28T15:46:00.000-04:00Ooo what a yummy and different sounding breakfast!...Ooo what a yummy and different sounding breakfast! I don't know that I would have thought to put all those things together.

As for a health minded decision. Well the biggest ones have been trying to always add at least one more vegetable (if not more) to my meal and snacking on fruits. Also, trying to distinguish between being hungry and feeling snacky, and if I really am hungry to eat something healthy (and then go for something not as healthy if I still want it).eatme_delicioushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14657772782487330009noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-888327109101399212008-07-28T14:43:00.000-04:002008-07-28T14:43:00.000-04:00Two things: 1) That granola looks WONDERFUL.2) I s...Two things:

1) That granola looks WONDERFUL.

2) I stopped drinking diet cokes almost entirely. Before food blogs, I really didn't think much of them. Seriously. There was rarely a vegetable I ate. I saw a nutritionist who really told me to up my calorie intact and taht has made a huge difference with respect to how I feel about myself both physically and mentally. I have to work to keep it in shape, and even with that effort I won't look like a supermodel :D But compared to last year I'm much stronger and have far greater cardio capacity thanks to regular strength training running. I gotta try some of that, I think I've been on the "cereal and berries" routine for a while now.

I think one of the health-minded changes that has bettered my life was definitely getting into a cycle of regular exercise not for "weight loss" but for "health and fitness." As soon as I shifted the focus from exercising to melt away pounds to exercising to improve my overall life and well-being, I definitely became an avid fan of gym trips!

P.S. Yes, Tina the Buns & Abs of Steel DVD also makes me really sore. I bought it for like a dollar because it's actually SO OLD. I mean the woman says this exercise combines her favorite activities, one of which is "in line skating" hahah. I need some new DVDs...

Have a good Monday!Olgahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13503518209573823064noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-29806180227645320932008-07-28T10:13:00.000-04:002008-07-28T10:13:00.000-04:00Those waffles do look yummy! I've been eating healthy/exercising for a few years now, but now I'm eating more whole foods as opposed to processed/packaged foods. I also quit counting calories a few months ago which is helping with my intuitive eating! And I try to move a little more each day besides my workouts, ie walking to the store/restaurant instead of driving if it's just a short distance. My journey to health has evolved quite a bit since it first started!PonderingRunningYogihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13967145087303603833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-64188218308325017902008-07-28T10:09:00.000-04:002008-07-28T10:09:00.000-04:00That breakfast looks so good Tina! That's on the fitness/stress control side. Food wise I believe that cutting down on meat and eating more vegetarian meals (and more yummy tofu) certainly made a difference in my digestion, skin, and energy levels. xProteahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11499109019337364472noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8856054621346056507.post-1192616224049402502008-07-28T10:02:00.000-04:002008-07-28T10:02:00.000-04:00Ahh, I hate it when that happens :0( Hope you can...Ahh, I hate it when that happens :0( Hope you can sleep better tonight!!
