Snacky Afternoon

I had one of those afternoons where all you want to do is eat! Around 2:00, I ate a sugar cookie. Around 3:00, I ate another cookie (not pictured, but mentioned for accountability). I thought maybe I was just thirsty, so I drank a lot of water, which didn't seem to work. I should know better to have a real snack instead of cookies because they never hold off my hunger. Around 4:00, I finally ate a Light & Fit yogurt with 1/4 cup of Kashi Go Lean Crunch. It did the trick, but I am ready for dinner!

I hear ya!! I had the SAME kind of day-- despite a normal breakfast and lunch, my stomach would not be satisfied even after the leftover frittata, cashews, and yogurt with fruit! I finally had to stop myself but like you, i am ready for dinner! Do you usually associate extreme hunger with a shortage of calories the day before or a lack of nutrients? It would seem that the body is trying to 'tell us something' :)
