It's hard to believe that the Pats ended their perfect season with a loss in the Superbowl. I'm not the biggest football fan out there, but I am disappointed to see their season end this way. My fiance is devastated that his team lost, but I think he will pull through.
Even though the Pats lost, we had a fun time at the Superbowl party. There was lots of good food, and our friend brought some of his home-brewed IPA for us to try. At kick-off, I had a small bowl of very spicy jambalaya and a bottle of IPA.
Around half time, I had another IPA and a few appetizers: a stuffed mushroom, a chicken wing, a mini hotdog wrapped in bacon, and a piece of shrimp cocktail (not pictured). Perfect Superbowl food!
