Time to Get Crackin'

Wahooooo! I'm on V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N... and getting married in 4 days!!! I am ecstatic!!! :)

Breakfast this morning was strawberry oat bran with almond slices and iced coffee with vanilla hemp milk. It was lovely sitting on the balcony this morning-- relaxing, enjoying the weather, and not being at work!

We're definitely out of food. Dinner last night 2 TJ's Turkey Meatballs, couscous, and brussels sprouts with Claire's amazing relish. All together, the meal tasted pretty darn delicious-- sort of like Chinese food.

I finished off dinner with half a toasted English muffin with a little peanut butter and pumpkin spread, and topped with butterscotch chips. Wow, such an amazing combination of sweet flavors. Yum!

Monday's snacks not pictured: A bowl of Barbara's Shredded Oats cereal with milk and 5 dried apricots. I forgot to take photos-- lots on my mind yesterday!

My day is packed with wedding preparations, but Mal and I are making great progress with our to do list! The plan is to tackle everything before tonight, so we can just relax for the remaining days leading up to our wedding. I know we can do it!

Question of the Day

What is your favorite condiment(s)?

Me: Buffalo sauce (duh!) and salsa. They enhance almost any meal!

I can't wait to see pictures of your wedding after your honeymoon! The whole wedding and marriage process flies, I can't get over that I've been married for over a year now.

My favs have to be salsa, guacamole and ketchup.

That is awesome that you are motivated to get everything done today so that you can relax for the next few days leading up to the wedding!!!

Favorite condiments--without a doubt ketchup (my husband has considered staging an intervention)

How exciting that the big day is so close! My favorite is salsa, though. I'm pretty sure you can put it on everything (ok maybe not oatmeal).

SALSA! I eat it on everything!

Oh, and lately I have been eating plain, nonfat yogurt with garlic salt and cumin mixed in, as well.

People usually think yogurt should be eaten with sweet mix-ins - honey, fruit, sugar, etc. - but it tastes good as a salty, slightly spicy accompaniment to a meal too! I guess it becomes a healthy sour cream / ranch dressing.

I can't believe no one has said PEANUT BUTTER yet! That's definitely a fave!
Hummus and salsa are good, too. And cheese (is that a condiment??)...it makes anything better :)
Apparently I like condiments.

Favorite condiments: vinegar and salsa. Oh, and ketchup. Actually, I like ALL condiments...

SO freaking cooool!!! Fave Condiments: Stone Ground Mustard, Liquid-Aminos, Pickled Ginger, Fage (I just love to eat it... Period.), Sugar-Free Maple Syrup, Italian Sweet Peppers (Jarred), Lemon Juice (fresh on bell peppers=heaven), freshly grated aged parmigiano reggiano, cinnamon, fresh basil, umm... a lot :)

Used to put ketchup on EEEverything! But I'm allergic and my allergy is too bad now! A blessing in disguise tho, because I can taste so much more flavor now!

Enjoy every minute of the time leading up to your wedding and I hope you have a great wedding day!

hummus, salsa, mustard (either grainy or spicy)... i'd say peanut butter, but it's not really a condiment when you eat it off a spoon... :)

Enjoy every last minute of your vacation, wedding, honeymoon, etc!!!

Ketchup! I couldn't survive without it...well, I could, but my tastebuds would be awfully upset. ;)

I use non-fat fage as a topper on lots of things...as well as salsa, and then ketchup...

Best of luck this week!!
I'm reflecting on this week of last year, when I was preparing for my wedding. An exciting time that can't be replaced.

Hey Tina! I've been gone for a while and I'm getting ready to be again for another week and a half so I won't be here to wish you luck or congratulations on your big day so I'm doing it now! Best wishes on your wedding and honeymoon, have fun ;-)

Oh, and favorite condiments!

Salsa, any kind of mustard, and bbq sauce.

I'm intrigued to try buffalo sauce, I have never had it.
