Jazzy

The Hub's Jazz Lounge was wonderful last night! I really enjoyed myself-- listening to music, good conversation, and drinking wine are my favorite leisure activities. Of course, meeting Kath, her sister, Laura, and her boyfriend, Matt was the highlight of the evening! Kath was so friendly, intelligent, and fun, and we had a ton in common! If she lived in Boston, I know we'd be great friends! I'm excited to hang out with her and Laura some more tonight at the blog dinner (as well as the KERF readers)!

Views from the lounge...

My first glass of wine at the Top of the Hub was the Sonoma Cutrer Chardonnay, which was absolutely delicious! The next time we want to buy a bottle of wine, I am looking for this one!

My second glass was the Simi Sauvignon Blanc, which took me a lot longer to drink because we were all chatting so much!

Lovely bloggers...

Dinner

Just a reminder: We have no food! Dinner was rather pathetic last night, but I made do with what we had.

Egg white and parmesan sandwich with buffalo sauce... we didn't even have cheese! :(

Kashi Fire Roasted Vegetable cracks-- I ate 2 handfuls.

And dessert: Barney Butter and peanut and chocolate chips on half of a piece of whole wheat. Dinner wasn't the most nutritious meal, but when you're completely out of groceries, you get what you get!

Busy day ahead! I'm off to officially change my last name, then we are making a big ol' brunch for our neighbors, then perhaps some JP Licks, then KERF blog dinner later tonight! Fun day!

Looks like a wonderful night! I am so jealous I can't make the Boston dinner tonight, but have a great time. Those Kashi crackers have a nice kick to them, don't they!

Ugh.. all this JP talk - no fair! Only 13 more days though.. an I can have all the JP Licks I want!

I'm probably doing the Ollie road race wit the GBTC guys on the 6th. Do you know anything about it?

Annnd.. a meet up sometime when I'm out there? Maybe just farmers market or JPs or something? You could always come try out the Marino - see how it compares to HealthWorks =]

just out of curiosity, what is the fast and dirty interval workout?!

runroamrecycle (Erika),

The Ollie is a great race! I've never run it, but lots of my friends have and they loved it.

A meet up sounds lovely! I work in the same 'hood as NEU, so a farmer's market trip and/or JP Licks sounds wonderful! Just drop me an email once you settled.

Tina- looks like so much fun!

I love how you are able to handle having a glass of wine on worknights- I get too nervous I will be dehydrated in the morning.

Do enjoy the dinner tonight!

Sonoma Cutrer is my absolute FAV Chardonnay! We order it every time we go to the bar across the street from work. Too bad they charge $15 a glass there though! I'm definitely gonna try to get a bottle too.
