Super Salad Bar

Working at the School of Public Health definitely has its benefits when it comes to food! The food at HSPH is provided by Harvard University Dining Services (HUDS). HUDS works with with the Department of Nutrition to develop menu selections based on the best available data on diet and health. Everything served here is super fresh, flavorful, and very nutritious. In fact, trans fats are not prohibited in any of the foods, and sugar is kept to a minimum whenever possible. Most of the time, it's difficult NOT to eat well here!

The salad bar is VERY well-stocked, and I pretty much had a little of everything from it today. In my salad: spinach, cherry tomatoes, red peppers, beets, mushrooms, broccoli, artichokes, green beans, carrots, edamame, jalapeƱos, kidney beans, chick peas, mandarin oranges, chicken breast, hummus, and flax seeds.

And for dessert...Dunkin' Donuts hazelnut coffee and a peppermint meltaway from Trader Joe's! Oooh, baby!
