Today has been rough... I've had lots of work and meetings, but not a lot of motivation. The long weekend was so nuts for me that I feel like I need another day off! I'm definitely hitting the hay early tonight!
Lunch today was a variety of items. To start, raw veggies and roasted red pepper hummus...
and then a ham and buffalo sauce sandwich on honey wheat, some dates, and 2 Hershey's kisses. Lunch covered all of the bases, right? :)
I've been draggggging all day long, so after lunch I ran out for an iced coffee pick-me-up. I think the caffeine is helping a little... I hope!
I just broke out my afternoon snack, which is Fage with a free sample of Kashi Mountain Medley granola. The 1/2 cup sample is pretty high in calories (220), but the description and ingredients sound delicious. Even though my snack is a bit high in the calorie department, I think the combo of Fage (protein!) and granola (good fats!) should hold me over until dinnertime. Plus, I love, love, love granola and yogurt together!
